80mm waterproof butyl tape for ISO-64 panels

This self-adhesive butyl sealing tape can be used to ensure a watertight finish at the corners and joints of insulation panels. This tape is used in damp areas where a watertight surface on the insulation panels is desired. The butyl tape is applied to corners or joints to ensure a complete seal. Construction of the wall or floor can then proceed. The back of the butyl tape consists of a membrane that ensures good adhesion to cement, tile adhesive, or smoothing compound, for example.

Installation of Polyboard ISO-64

If the panels are installed directly onto a wooden subfloor, it is best to glue them with tile adhesive and screw them in place using the rosettes. If the panels are used on a concrete substrate, they can be glued to the substrate with tile adhesive. One 60 x 120 cm Polyboard panel can be fixed using four fixing rosettes.

The joints and corners of ISO-64 panels can be covered with QH reinforcing tape for a durable seal. The fiberglass reinforcing tape is coated with a tile adhesive that permanently bonds it to the insulation panels. To ensure permanent sealing of joints and corners in damp areas (such as bathrooms), these are covered with butyl tape.
