Watertight seal guaranteed thanks to the flange
The NovaDrain comes standard with a stainless steel flange around its entire perimeter. This makes the shower drain suitable for both impermeable floors (concrete) and non-impermeable surfaces such as wood. During installation, a waterproof membrane, also known as a sealing strip, is applied to the flange to prevent moisture from seeping into the underlying structure. Thanks to this intelligent protection, any potential leaks will evaporate on their own.
The necessary membrane is always supplied to ensure a watertight installation.

Watertight Construction – Nurion Installation Tips

Secure the membrane properly to the flange
Use sealant to create a completely watertight connection between the gutter and the shower floor. -
Treat the wet area with a waterproof coating
For added protection, we recommend applying a waterproof coating to the entire shower wall up to a height of 150 cm. Since seals are never 100% watertight, the sealing tape and sealant will prevent leaks and moisture problems.
