The SAS816 surface thermostat is a simple mechanical (bi-metal) thermostat and can be used with conventional heating systems as well as electric heating systems such as patio heaters and our radiant panels. The SAS816 thermostat has an effective temperature range of 5 to 30°C, which is more than sufficient for most applications.
